Large sections changed to improve performance. People with a lot of history may have noticed Powometer using up a lot of system resources. This has now been changed and is somewhat better.
Note: The first time you run the new version after upgrading, it will take a few seconds (or minutes on a slow machine) to rebuild the history to the new methods. Once this is done, it will be negligible from then on. |

| Force Online Resync |
There is now an option for force a history resync with the website. This normally happens every 48 hours and should only be used if you suspect your online data is not up to date. |

| Minimise to Tray |
If you minimise the application, it will hide in the system tray (Next to the clock)
Double click on the icon will restore the application to it's normal window.
While minimised, it will run as usual.

| Move your usage files. |
If you want to move your usage files (The files where Powometer stores your usage) you can do so from the Database Options page.
You should only do this if you have a specific need. The default location is normally fine.
Vista Users: If you do this, the folder where you move to MUST have full permissions to the "Everyone" user. Failing to do this will stop Powometer from working as well as stopping you reverting to the original location. |
| Reduced thread Priority |
There were some processes that became intensive and caused the computer to run slowly. These have now been changed to run under a low priority.
They will still use as much CPU as possible but will not cause the machine to become slow and unresponsive. |

| Data Repair Feature |
If your Wattson Energy Monitor crashed or you had to turned off for a while, this feature is for you. It is for anyone who has suffered data loss from Holmes or Wattson.
At the click of a button it will find any "holes" in your data where you have missed readings. It will then create new readings to fill up these holes based on readings from similar times, and similar loads. It will then show you the readings it has created and allow you to edit these and tweak them. It shows them along side the closest real readings so you can see how accurate it is.
Once you are happy with the suggestions, you can save that back and from that point, everything looks more true. |

| Correction Factor |
If you know for certain that your Wattson Energy Monitor is measuring incorrectly, you can use this to alter the readings.
With a factor of 1, the value will remain as is. With a factor of 1.01, Powometer will increase the readings it gets by 1%. With a factor of 1.1, it will increase it by 10%. The same applies to the negative. If you add a factor of -1.1, it will reduce you readings (Not your actual bill!) by 10%. Valid values are -1.99999 through to +1.99999. You cannot have zero as a factor.
Warning: Altering this value saves the readings as the new value and cannot be undone. Be sure you know the correct value before changing it. If you are uncertain, rather leave it as it is. They are not that incorrect. |
